About Us

Mad Ball started on a court in Guadalajara in 2024, between two Puerto Ricans a few thousand miles from home.

Carlos Atienza is a brother more than a friend. He was living in Guadalajara, MX by then, and he handed our founder Ramon a racket and said the rules would explain themselves. They mostly did. What nobody explained was the hour afterward, standing around the glass, still arguing about a point that ended twenty minutes ago, laughing with people you met at the start of the match. Puerto Rico and Mexico, it stopped mattering somewhere in the second set. Somos del mismo lugar.

Then Ramon went looking for something to wear.

And there it was. The most alive sport in the world, dressed like an afterthought. Nothing with a point of view, nothing with a pulse, nothing that looked like it had ever been in the room where the actual culture was happening. A sport full of taste wearing none of it.

That gap is the whole reason we exist.

Mad Ball is for the ones who read the rules once and decided they were negotiable. Who were never going to be the best-dressed person on the court by accident. Who spent months getting a bandeja to sit down properly and would do it again for the víbora, because doing it right is the only version worth doing.

We hold ourselves to that same standard. Every piece has to earn its place the way those shots did. Nothing filler, nothing borrowed, nothing you have to explain.

Read the wall. Control the rally. Dominate the net.
